Method 1: Disable Wi-Fi adapter power saving
- Search for Device Manager.
- Open Network adapters, then double-click your wireless adapter (often contains words like Wireless or WiFi 6).
- Open the Power Management tab.
- Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
- If there is no Power Management tab, update the wireless driver using Lenovo PC Manager: Original drivers → Driver scan → update the wireless driver.
Method 2: Adjust wireless network settings
- Search for Network & Internet (or right-click the network icon in the bottom-right).
- Select More network adapter options (Windows 10: Change adapter options).
- Double-click the Wi-Fi adapter icon and click Wireless Properties.
- Check Connect even if the network is not broadcasting its name, then click OK.
Method 3: Prefer 5 GHz (if your device supports dual-band)
- Open the wireless adapter driver properties and go to Advanced.
- Find Preferred Band and set it to 3. Prefer 5GHz band, then click OK.
